Institutional Collaboration

When a sending university and a Study Abroad Provider are both members of the GCRC, students participating in a jointly connected study abroad experience complete only one assessment cycle. The student will receive only one unique code, provided either by their home university or by their study abroad provider.

The assessment is linked to both the sending institution and the program provider. The student is not asked to complete duplicate questionnaires, and no individual results are shared between institutions.

Each participating organization receives its own confidential aggregated analysis:

  • Universities receive results relating to the development of their students across participating study abroad experiences with different study abroad providers.

  • Study Abroad Providers receive results relating to students participating in their programs.

This approach allows both institutions to benefit from participation while avoiding duplicate assessments and unnecessary administrative work.

Can a University and Its Partner Study Abroad Provider Both Participate simultaneusly in the GCRC?

Yes. Dual participation is possible and encouraged.
